When it comes to pool safety, a compliant fence is essential — and a certified pool barrier inspection is the best way to ensure your pool area is safe and legally compliant. But how much should you expect to pay for a pool fence inspection?
At Country Vic Pool Inspections, our pricing is clear and straightforward:
Initial Pool Barrier Inspection – $250 + GST
Our initial inspection involves a comprehensive, in-person assessment of your pool barrier. We inspect your barrier against the applicable Australian Standard, looking closely at every detail to ensure full compliance.
If your pool barrier passes the inspection, we will issue a Form 23 Compliance Certificate — giving you peace of mind and helping you meet any council or legal requirements.
After the inspection, you will receive a detailed written report, including photographs of all elements assessed and any areas of concern, referenced against the specific Australian Standard applicable to your pool. Whether your barrier passes or needs some work, you'll have a clear understanding of where you stand.
Reinspection (If Required) – $50 + GST
If your pool barrier does not initially meet all requirements, don't worry. You have up to 60 days from the date of the initial inspection to address any non-compliant items and schedule a reinspection.
The reinspection is a focused review of the previously identified issues to confirm that they have been corrected. We’ll again provide a detailed report and, if everything is now compliant, issue your Form 23 Compliance Certificate.
Advice-Only Inspection – $200 + GST
Not ready for a formal compliance inspection just yet? Planning a new pool and want to know the rules to plan your landscaping?
Our advice-only inspection service is perfect for homeowners who want expert guidance before an official assessment. This includes an in-person or virtual visit where we thoroughly inspect your pool barrier and advise you on any improvements needed to meet the most current Australian Standard — but no Form 23 is issued after this service. You’ll still receive a complete written report with photographs and specific advice to help you prepare for full compliance.
